Eagles have adorned many flags of countries and armies across history, but this one visits the window of my home, and models to my camera. I always fall for its large brown pupil. An eagle's eye they say, can see the most distant objects. How much we would aspire too, in our endeavours to gaze into the depths of life's crsytal ball, and making sure that we are ready for tomorrow. Not knowing that the only real future is today. Live with the intentness of today, and opiate in the elixir of contentment. Everything is just right. Today.
I am always delighted by the calm glide of the eagle. Alone in its pursuit, unhindered by the hurried hustle of life below, keenly focussed on what it wants.
May we all get what we want, and if we dont, bother not. We never wanted it enough.
